South for about 2 km, take the
junction for San Gavino Monreale,
crossing the town direct to Villacidro;
Villacidro; in the center of the town
follow road signs for the
Monti Mannu Forest

Fascinating, charming places, interspersed with wide-reaching views of rare beauty, accessible along a series of routes able to meet all needs.
THE GIARA UPLANDS
Suspended in silence, home to the famous wild horses, small and fleet, living in herds in the open and which against this splendid natural backdrop have found the ideal environment for breeding and maintaining the race.
This itinerary covers 42 km and takes about 4 hours.

THE PISCINAS DUNES
As much as 80 m high, clothed in centuries’ old junipers, they create a unique setting; a magic place where visitors, against the backdrop of ancient mining settlements, can catch a glimpse of the shy Sardinian deer, still numerous in this area.
The itinerary covers 48 km and takes about 5 hours.
